Happy Palm Sunday! I was teaching my kiddos about Palm Sunday today, and how the people waved palms in the air and strawed the Savior's path with them - they believed that He was the Messiah, come to deliver them. But they had such a limited view - they believed that He was come to deliver them from the oppression of the Romans - and when He didn't fit what they wanted, they crucified Him. But He came to deliver us from so much more than our temporary earthly problems. He came to deliver us from death and hell! His resurrection broke the chains of death for every single one of us so we can know that death is never the end. His atonement saved us from permanent separation from our Heavenly Father, the definition of hell. We can be together with our loved ones and with our Savior and our Heavenly Parents because of Him. That makes me want to shout Hosanna!, too.
