I've been trying to think of a way to incorporate one of the snowflake ornaments I sell in my etsy shop into a card, and Laura's sketch this week at 2 Sketches 4 You was PERFECT! I think this will be a really nice way to give one of my friends an ornament -- the ribbon at the top just loops through two holes I punched in the card, so it can easily be detached and hung on the tree.
I used my Cuttlebug for the embossing and then lightly sanded it (love the DCWV cardstock for that!), and the border punch and rub-on are both from SU. TFL!

Oh so lovely! Great snowflake! :) Kathy
Your card is absolutely beautiful!
Beautiful card!
Very nice!
Im confused - I loved your beautiful Snowflakes, and was happy to see that under your pics there was a little sign that said "make your own". So I thought you were showing how to do one of them. Basically I know how to do a snowflake, but not using my Cricut.
Nark
perfectly gorgeous!!!
Sorry for any confusion, Nark -- that "make your own" button is an ad placed there by the website that creates the slideshow so you can make your own slide show. I use a big industrial laser cutter to create my wooden snowflake ornaments, but if you have Sure Cuts a Lot for your Cricut, I do sell the cut files for all my snowflakes in my etsy shop.
Gorgeous take on the sketch. Love the tassles at the bottom.
Hugs
